Garment Care

Cotton has been used to make baby clothes for centuries and has withstood the test of time.  All our garments are made from 100% organic cotton for softness, breathability and comfort. Cotton is naturally easy to care for, but following our care instructions will keep your baby's clothes looking their best for longer.

Our care label instructions

  • Machine wash in cold or warm water (<100°F).
  • Line dry or tumble dry on low.
  • Do not soak, bleach or use fabric softeners.
  • Iron on low or steam if you wish to.

Machine wash in cold or warm water (<100°F) using an environmentally friendly, sensitive skin laundry detergent.  It is best to wash with similar fabrics and colors.

Air drying is gentler on your clothes and the environment. As much as possible, hang to line dry. Tumble drying on low heat is also fine.

Although line drying is better for the environment, sometimes it can leave cotton fabrics feeling a little stiff temporarily.  To restore softness, gently stretch the fabric width-wise and length-wise a few times, steam with a garment steamer or tumble dry for two minutes.

It's best not to soak clothes for extended periods or use harsh chemicals such as bleach or fabric softeners.

Although children tend to outgrow their clothes quickly, our garments are made to last. Once your little one has outgrown their clothes, here are some ways to close the loop:

  • Hand-me-downs - Most of our designs are gender-neutral, so they make perfect hand-me-downs for future siblings. If you'd like to store baby clothes, make sure to prepare & organize them well - you can find many online guides on how to carefully store clothes to maintain them in the best possible condition.
  • Sell - If you'd like to sell your pre-loved clothes, we suggest listing them on a specialized online marketplace such as Kidizen or Poshmark
  • Donate - You may also like to consider donating gently used baby & children's clothes to your local buy nothing group, charity thrift store or women's shelter.
